OTTINGER HEBERT GROWS LITIGATION AND TRANSACTIONAL PRACTICE
Ottinger Hebert, L.L.C., is pleased to welcome Michael Fussell, Jr. and David Rogers as the newest members of the firm. Mike and David are lateral transfers from a regional law firm, and their addition will further strengthen the firm’s litigation and title practices. Beginning his practice of law in 2005, Mike brings with him a wide variety of litigation experience, including matters in oil and gas, commercial disputes, and medical malpractice. He graduated cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2001 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2005. Since then, he has been recognized several times for his legal ability by being named as a top lawyer in Acadiana in Acadiana Profile Magazine and by being rated an AV-Preeminent attorney by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review. With these credentials and leadership, Ottinger Hebert is excited to have him as part of the team. Being a registered professional landman, and an attorney with a concentration in the oil and gas sector, David proves to be a valuable asset to the firm with broad knowledge of mineral law. His extensive work as a field landman has given him experience in handling title opinions, abstracts, and mineral lease acquisitions. His work as an attorney furthered his skill and familiarity through regulatory work with the Office of Conservation and Office of Mineral Resources of the State of Louisiana, as well as handling oil and gas transactions and disputes between mineral owners and production companies. David graduated from Louisiana State University in 2006 and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law School in 2010. Ottinger Hebert recognizes his hard work and dedication, and believes that his experience will be beneficial to its clients.
