Kate B. Landry

Kate Brasseux Landry focuses her practice on oil and gas title and transactional matters. She is a 2024 graduate of the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she earned her Juris Doctorate, Graduate Diploma of Comparative Law, and Graduate Certificate in Energy Law and Policy. She also earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Louisiana State University in 2022.

Kate is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.

During her time in law school, Kate was chosen as the first law student to present at the Mineral Law Institute annual CLE in 2024, whereby she co-presented on Recent Developments in Mineral Law in Louisiana. Additionally, Kate co-authored an article published in the Center for American and International Law’s Energy Law Advisor, September 2023 edition, regarding legislative developments in Louisiana carbon capture, utilization, and storage legislation and primacy.
