Valerie V. Guidry was recognized by the Louisiana State Bar Association for exceptional pro bono services and awarded the Pro Bono Century Award and the Pro Bono Publico Award.  The awards were presented at the annual Louisiana State Bar Association Access to Justice Pro Bono Awards ceremony held at the Louisiana Supreme Court in New Orleans.

The Pro Bono Century Award recognizes attorneys who have shown consummate pro bono leadership by completing 100 hours of service within a year.  The Pro Bono Publico Award is given to attorneys for providing exceptional pro bono legal services to Louisiana’s indigent, who may not otherwise have received representation or access to the legal system.

This is the second time that Valerie has received the Pro Bono Century award, demonstrating her commitment to service in the community.  She continues to provide exemplary service through Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers, (LVL) the pro bono project of the Lafayette Bar Foundation.
