FIFTH TIME GUIDRY RECEIVES OUTSTANDING PRO BONO ATTORNEY AWARD

Valerie V. Guidry was recognized by the Lafayette Bar Association for exceptional pro bono service and awarded the Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney Award. The award was presented to her by Justice James T. Genovese of the Louisiana Supreme Court at the 2018 Champions of Justice awards ceremony honoring volunteer attorneys. This award recognizes attorneys who have shown consummate pro bono leadership by providing exceptional legal services to Louisiana’s indigent, who may not otherwise have received representation or access to the legal system. This is the fifth time that Valerie has received the Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney Award, demonstrating her commitment to service in the community.  Additionally, Mrs. Guidry has also been the recipient of the Pro Bono Century Award as well as the Pro Bono Publico Award and continues to be an active member of the Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers.
