Valerie V. Guidry

Valerie Vigé Guidry focuses her practice on general civil litigation, environmental litigation, and oil and gas litigation.  She is a 2006 graduate of the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she earned a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Civil Law. She also earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University in 2003.

Mrs. Guidry is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Louisiana.

She is an active member in the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the American Inns of Court of Acadiana, where she serves on the executive committee.

Mrs. Guidry is an adjunct professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and teaches undergraduate classes in business law and employment law.

She is very active in the community and has won numerous awards for her pro bono legal work including the Lafayette Bar Association Outstanding Attorney Award, the Lafayette Bar Association Top HELP Award, the Louisiana State Bar Association Century Club Award, and the Louisiana State Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Award.  She volunteers regularly for the Counsel on Call and HELP (Homeless Experience Legal Protection) Programs.  She has been named a Top Lawyer by Acadiana Profile Magazine and served on the Children’s Museum of Acadiana Board of Trustees and the Healing House Board of Directors.
