Stuart M. Simoneaud

Stuart M. Simoneaud received his Bachelor’s of Science from Louisiana State University in 2001 and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Civil Law Studies from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2004.

He is licensed to practice in both Louisiana and Texas. Stuart is an attorney with the law firm of Ottinger Hebert, L.L.C., where he has practiced in its oil and gas section since 2004. His practice involves various areas of Oil and Gas Law, with a primary focus on oil and gas transactional matters and title examination. Throughout his career, Stuart has represented producers and others engaged in onshore and offshore operations in connection with the exploration, development and operation of oil and gas properties, including the preparation of opinions for drilling, division order and leasehold acquisition purposes. He has also assisted clients with the drafting and negotiation of complex agreements and the acquisition, sale and/or financing of oil and gas properties.

Mr. Simoneaud is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association and the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen.
