David K. Mccrory

David K. McCrory focuses his practice on resolving commercial disputes, including energy and environmental defense. He also has substantial experience advising clients in business matters, including acquisitions and divestitures.

Mr. McCrory attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. He graduated Order of the Coif with a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law degree in May 2006. He is admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.

Mr. McCrory is a member of the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute Advisory Council. He has served as a speaker at the Institute on Mineral Law, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, including most recently as the moderator of a panel discussion on emergency spill response featuring individuals from the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources.

Mr. McCrory is also a certified public accountant. Before graduating from law school, he worked as an investigative auditor for the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s Office. He interviewed over one hundred individuals for information gathering and admission-seeking purposes while investigating and reporting fraud in state and local government.

Before law school, Mr. McCrory attended Louisiana State University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance in December 1999 and a Master of Public Administration in May 2001. While attending Louisiana State University’s Public Administration Institute, he served as the managing editor of the Global Virtual Ethics Review, an online academic publication.

While attending law school, Mr. McCrory was a member of the 2005 National Tax Moot Court Competition championship team. After graduating from law school, he practiced with Adams and Reese, L.L.P. in their litigation practice group focusing on commercial litigation. Mr. McCrory is a member of the Lafayette and Louisiana State Bar Associations, and Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
